i really had a fun weekend . someone far from me yet close to my heart went to utp to visit me . i couldn't be more happier . thank you orang kerteh for coming and also for spending the weekend with me . i'm missing you already , hmm .

yesterday , ida's friend came to utp . her name is me'e :) she had a sleepover in our little room and spent the night w/ ida . today , without segan silu , i followed them to kellie's castle ! hahaha . we had a wonderful time . thank you girls :D

still alive , alhamdulillah . actually , i'm still on holidays , but i decided not to go back to my hometown . so soon i thought . but now , i pretty much got nothing to do other than dozing off and wasting my time , LOL . luckily all my friends are here as well .

so last friday , we celebrated nadia's november birthday and mila's december birthday in kfc taman maju . i know lame kan ? hahaha . supposedly we planned to make a picnic party by utp lake , but somehow we were worried about the weather . to be safe , we just make a huge surprise planning for em' and it was so freaking funny ! hahaha . i had to kantoi kan our surprise , zzzzzzzzz . but on top of all , we did have a great time together :D

the next day , we went off to ipoh for 12 hours ! gila tak ? gila , gila . hahaha . we went to JJ , Padang Polo , Taman Jepun and also IP . perghhh , awesome dayyy ! the main purpose we went there was to redeem our book vouchers . but i really don't know what to buy , especially books ! LOL . it has been years , since i read good book . it will wasteful to spend the money on books for me lah , so i bought mostly stationery and crayons for the boys :P hehe .

p/s : i still have rm100 vouchers to spend , -.-'

this is actually my first time to padang polo , the environment is quite peaceful . we ate cendol , and as for me , i chose cendol pulut . okay lah , but still cannot beat my Mr. Cendol , ngehehe :P

at ipoh parade , i finally bought my backpack :D yeayyy ! i've been meaning to own one since i dont remember when . the price was quite cheap , cause i've surveyed in lotsa places , from blogshop to real stores . i am really satisfied w/ this one :D then , we went for karaoke . i cannot remember the last time i break free and just sang my lungs out . & of course , kalau lagu ella tu , confirm pecah suara . hahaha .

had late dinner at rusna for their delicious tom yam and off back to utp . what a dayyy ! thank you girls :D

Mister Potato , Kar-shing is back :D hahaha , takde kaitan . how was my first week of studying ? fine lah , but most of the time , i tend to be so unavoidably sleepy . unless , i jot down notes . we need to settle down with internship issue this semester , besar dah rasa . i can't believe that i'm graduating next yr ! insya Allah , insya Allah . it seems like i'm still a baby , okay tipu .

before i went back to utp last time , my family and i had a 3 days 2 nights at pulau pangkor . though it kinda embarrassing to bring them there since the undersea is pretty much clogged and no varieties of fishes , we still had a wonderful time together ! please the next stop be tioman . cause my sister can't bragged enough about Tioman Island . Urghh . Sabah's islands pun best jugak padahal , hahaha . no pictures will be provided from this vacation , biarlah rahsia :P

sorry for the silent . too much things happened around me , yet i don't know how to start . haven't baking for quite some time now . slow down on internet addiction . and deactivated my facebook account . yeah , if you ever notice lah .

last saturday , met my dearest best friend , atul at megamall . chit chatting , getting new info about each other's life . while going out w/ her , i've learnt a very valuable lesson . which is not to expect anything from people , cause you'll surprise how things would ends up . we rarely meet each other , once a year , yes . you know , when you haven't meet someone that long , you always stuck on words and awkward moments happen everytime . that's why i say to myself , let things happen in a way it should be . and boom , for us , things going on smoothly and we're so happy to meet each other :) i'm glad we are still good friend :)

mom and dad are not home until tomorrow . they went to pekan baru , indonesia for my daddy's golf tournament . actually , i should call it as their honeymoon too . since they went there together w/o us . i don't really mind that , as long as they're happy together . all my sibs are in the house , practically taking care of each other . went to the beach on sunday's evening w/ amir and yui . we caught some big crabs and dead fishes too . yeayyy , hahaha .

and that night , when we all settle down inside my parent's room , we watched masterchef junior from australia making beautiful dessert w/ chocolate . drooling much ? yes , of course . so i went to the kitchen and start making 5 mins hedgehog slice . and surprisingly , the chocolate was still hot when all the cookies were finished :P

yesterday , we went to east coast mall for a movie . we watched journey 2 : the mysterious island (3D) . kena tulis 3D , sebab mahal gila tickets . heh . honestly , to me , the movie is not as adventurous as the title is . but okay lah , especially for kids yang first time tengok 3D movie . hehe , so cute amir and yui . dinner at johnny's and went straight back home :)

this evening , i took my little sibs to swim at the royal club house . the facilities have been better since my last time visiting that place :) we had such a wonderful time there . amir and yui managed to swim all across the pool . i'm a proud coach . hahahaha . had dinner at sara thai kitchen and went back home :)

well , nothing much from me . but yes , i'm still alive and breathing . alhamdulillah :)

p/s : my bb's camera has back to normal :D i don't think i need a new phone until this one has worn out ! all these pictures was taken using my bb's phone . couldn't be more happier than this :D hehe .

i couldn't agree more w/ her opinion . when you're married , you have the responsibility to your husband , family and also to yourselves . by telling people about your house or relationship problem , will not fix a thing . thus , make it even worse . besides , you're married . hence , doing that will also affect people impression on you .

being in a relationship and married is a huge gap . not everything you want to let other people know and not everything people want to know about you .

when i'm married soon , i really should slow down or even deactivate fb and twitter acc . somehow , i think these social network always lead people to divorce . freakyyy .

yesterday , after few days of catching up with 90210 season 3 and 4 , i finally decided to bake a cake . because i miss bakingggg so much . besides , mommy said its alright for me to bake but do not put too much sugar and i should eat the least . sounds like okay to me , so i start baking one .

i have a goal before i'm leaving home for utp . which is to bake rainbow cake and ice cream cake . hehe . since i don't have ice cream at home , i made rainbow cake first :)

it wasn't actually rainbow , since it only consists 3 different colour of layers :P but , almost there . and i thought , if i buy all the 7 colours , it will be wasted . but it's up to you to decide . really . hehe .

here are the ingredients needed :

cake :

1 1/4 oil

4 eggs

120 gm of castor sugar

120 gm of brown sugar

250 gm of flour

1 butter

1 spoonful of vanilla essence

food colouring . in this recipe , i'm using 3 different colours : red , yellow and green :)

frosting

10 cookies of peanut crackers or digestive biscuits

cream cheese

1/2 cup of sugar

1/4 butter

vanilla essence

optional : whipping cream . which i'm using in this recipe :)

i'm glad i have little brothers compared to older brother because we never have awkward moment with each other . and i still get to kiss and hug them whenever and where ever i want . hahaha . besides , being a sister to little brothers , is so not pain in the ass cause we , the sisters get to ask them to help with the households after all . you know , sisters rule :P hehe .

yesterday , 010112 was my daddy's 49th birthday :D tak sangka dah forty nine , handsome and muda lagi . hehehe . ktorg mg tak plan apa-apa pun actually . along kata nak bagi ipad2 , seems like out of budget to me . nak beli watches or perfumes , he already has plenty of em' . we couldn't decide what to give . huhe . so , ktorg just set up a dinner at secret recipe :) we arrived before em' so that we can buy some time to decorate the cake .

we can see his surprised face when he saw the cake . terharuu kan abah ? :P hehe . sorry lah , secret recipe ye yang mampu skrg . maybe bila ktorg dh kje , ktorg belanja dinner and bagi gift ! ye ? hehehe .

pelik kan ? tirabisu ? hahaha . when i'm making the sponge cake , i really forgot that we have no egg in the house . nak keluar pun malas . then , i decided to change two eggs with a cup of oil . and in the end , i got sweet crumbs ! hehehe . yet , i still proceed with the same process as the normal tiramisu recipe . but honestly , w/o eggs , the crumbs are really sweet but still delicious lah of course . hahaha . along cakap , smpi nk bisu makan , manis sgt :P next time , if you have no eggs please cut the amount of sugar to make the sponge cake . aite ? :)

happy saturday ! today is the last day of 2011 and yet , i feel nothing . LOL . luckily , i have twitter and facebook to update me today's date . hahaha .

so , back to the topic . i went to IKEA babyyy ! been craving for ikea meatballs and daim cake since forever . pasal makanan , i do give a damn . i cannot stand people promoting good stuff , yet i haven't taste em' yet . hehehe . daddy fetched me the night i arrived in KL from singapore , and we sleep at my mak lang's house near dengkil . since rumah arwah nenek and arwah datuk has been rented to someone else , the family rarely meet each other , just on special occasions . so , dapat dduk dekat rumah mak lang ni , boleh lah borak2 dgn cousins sket and catch up things in between :)

the next day , abah took us one family to IKEA :D my daddy is sooooo sweet ! he knew that i've been longing to eat IKEA's food . hehe . and finally , i got to taste em' . thank you daddy ♥

one word for everything in IKEA , CHEAP ! worth the wait and simply delicious . for 6 people to eat western foods , it only cost you rm90 or maybe less w/o water and daim cake . gila awesome kan ? :D

can drink , RM1 ? where else can you find such price nowadays ? then , if you bought carbonated drinks , don't throw away the cup . you can refill for freeee ! dh habis shopping sakan dekat ikea , refill air , refill ice-cream . heaven kot . on the way back to kuantan , singgah OU , shop2 abit , eat teppanyaki like always and bought sticky candy yang tak jadi for RM5 :P & lastly , i got my own kimono wrap . hehe .

Singapore Trip !

sorry for no updates recently . i just came back from SINGAPORE yaww . hehehe . this trip was a sudden plan between me and a good friend of mine , hamidah . somehow , we find difficulties along the way handling this trip . but Alhamdulillah , everything has been sort out and we finally ready to go !

we depart from TBS straight to singapore (lavender street) , around 5-6 hours gitu . upon the arrival , gila blank lah . we thought the MRT station was nearby the area but nahhhhh , it was about a kilometer away . darn gila . but wth , we need some adventure :D so we walked together and had wonderful conversation while walking . & that is when i start to get to know anis and aisyah , they're so cuteee and niceee . it's not hard to be friend w/ em' :)

we arrived about 5.15 in the morning . the MRT operates at 5.50 , so okay lah . after hop on the train , we went straight to paya lebar , where our hotel , gateway hotel is located . some issues here and there , but we managed to leave our bags there cause we are rushing to go to USS :D hop onto the MRT again , this time to harbourfront ! OM GEEE , USS really blew me away . i love the design , the rides , the buildings , everything lah . we arrived at 9 am and went back at 8.30 pm . gila tak ? mg make use the time betul-betul . hehe . and since it is during christmas season , they open until 9 pm . hehe . fyi , we rode all the rides ! hahahaha . the best i can say is transformers ride ! awesomeeeeee gila . second shrek 4D ! third baru cyclone and human ride . hehe . mummy ride ? paling annoying . takut sangat :'(

there goes our first day . sampai bilik , semua pengsan . hehe . the next day , we headed to promenade :D from promenade , you can take a free shuttle bus to marina bay . p/s : do not take MRT to marina bay directly , cause it is still an undeveloped area . starting from 14 jan nxt yr , new MRT will be direct you straight to marina bay shopping mall and free shuttle service will ends officially on that date . announcement gituu :D ehehe .

after took alot of pictures at marina bay , we went on MRT to raffles place . actually raffles place is located opposite to marina bay . you can find merlion park from raffles place station :) the buildings in Singapore is outstanding , very beautiful . awwwwhhhhh . i'm missing it now ! after that , we went to bugis street . we need to find souvenirs :) quite cheap i must say , but i didn't buy much . even if it's cheap , still the currency gap is wide enough for me to do the math . huhe . but bugis street lah paling murah kat singapore .

the last day has arrived :( we finally make our way to orchard road ! a shopping heaven . you can find 4 levels of forever twenty one , 3 levels of H&M , and so much more . there are 4 malls close to one another ! memang sampai esok tak habis jalan ! hahaha . BUT , it is still expensive :( for me lah . hehe . i spend almost rm400 to singapore for three days and two nights (doesn't include hotel + USS ticket + transport from kl to singapore and singapore to kl) . & we took almost 1000 pictures , JYEAH !

but it was a worth trip :) i had so much fun with the girls , and we have no regrets ! goodbye singapore . see you , well , when i see you !

this morning , when i walked my mom and sister out at the gate , i checked the mail box and found an old school envelop . as i took it out , i saw my name on it . amazinggggg , i mean i never get such letter in ages ! technology really make things easier , but i miss the happiness while receiving a letter like that . really .

as soon as i saw the handwriting , i know who it belongs to . hidayatul nur aqilah :) my dearly highschool bestfriend . and still is now ! i opened the envelop , i found a letter and a home-made gift inside . awwwww dear , you're so sweet :') i'm touched .

despite everything that happened to me and my family , we have move on and living life to the fullest . last night , we went to giant megamall to buy some groceries . & mommy said , haa ica , nak bake apa-apa tak ? angguk-angguk , terus cari ingredients . all i can think that moment , is to bake my own tiramisu cake . to buy the ingredients using my own money macam sayang lah pulak . ni ada orang dh offer , HEHEHE :D

so just now , after settling house works and ate delicious spaghetti bolognese cooked by my lovely sister , arina , i start to make tiramisu from scratch .

here are the ingredients :

SPONGE CAKE

2 eggs
1/4 cups of butter
1/2 cups of sugar
1 cup of self raising flour
one spoonful of vanilla essence

CREAMY CHEESE

a box of whipping cream
a cup of cream cheese
1/2 cups of sugar
2 spoonful of vanilla essence

NESCAFE MIX

a sachet of nescafe mix
1/4 of warm water

it was yesterday , the day my family and i thought to be our last day being alive . we didn't expect it coming anywhere , of course , it's an accident . the rain was pouring , and i was asleep as me and my family are heading to kuala lumpur for our holiday . and i was awake by the screaming tires and panicking members . and all i saw at that moment was the car start to go left and right so freaking fast . we couldn't do anything at that moment , and i just said to myself , redha atas segala kehendak-Nya . if i were meant to die in that car accident , then i will . i closed my eyes tightly and put my hands upon the ears . the next thing i realize , among us were crying . Alhamdulillah , everybody is safe . and i couldn't believe myself still alive . luckily our car hit the highway divider and scratch all the right body . the right front tire was flown out . i care no more for the car , i care no more for the holiday , but i care the most is not to lose anyone in that car accident . If we all were die in that car accident , we will die as one family . but Allah loves my family , Alhamdulillah . we have been given a chance to sleep and wake up again and serve Him . this is a lesson for everyone , period .

today , *cough cough* , i still have a little bit mucus left inside the nose , and now its hurting my throat badly . never mind , i am still strong . frankly , i am not a person who gives so much attention to the body . even i'm having terrible fever or flu , i hate to go to the doctor . to take meds for sure . UNLESS , my real protector force me to . haihhh , can't say no to that :')

yesterday eve , i got a message from my aunty . she wants to order a box of red velvet cupcakes of 25 pieces :) i say okay lah for sure . so , today , at noon i went out to shop a bit and settle things to go to Singapore end of this month ! okay , out of topic . hehehe . as i get home , one whole chicken i cooked in the morning has finished ! awesomeeeeeeee :D eventhough i don't get to taste em' but i'm so happy that everyone else love to eat em' . i balik-balik tengok kaki ayam je ada . hahaha . the next time i went into the kitchen , even kaki ayam pun habis *proud face*

then , i start to bake red velvet cupcakes :)

today , *kesat hingus* , eventhough i'm not well and have this crazy runny nose and mucus living down my throat , i still managed to bake a 'to-die-for cake' ! jyeah . i am so crazy with the idea of making chocolate ganache , because it is very delicious ! i've made one before with oreo cake , and i want to make it again . so today , when i opened the fridge , i cannot find butter anywhere . of course lah dah habis , and with this lazy ass , i refuse to go out to shop . so , google up for recipe that doesnt need butter . AND i found one :)

Ingredients

6 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of flour
1 tbs of water
1 tsp of vanilla essence

yesterday , after doing a little homework on what to bake , i finally decide to bake oreo cake with chocolate ganache . a very simple recipe , i guarantee you .

so here are the ingredients needed :

OREO CAKE
250 gm butter
1 cwn gula
2 cwn tepung naik sendiri

4 biji telur
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla
8-10 keping oreo - kisar halus

CHOCOLATE GANACHE

1 cawan susu pekat

1 cawan serbuk koko

1 sb butter/margerin/minyak masak

oreo cake ingredients :)

soft butter to room temperature and add sugar

crack eggs one by one into the mixture

add flour to the mixture

mix them well together

then , add a spoonful of vanilla essence

crushed oreo !

pour the crushed oreo into the mixture

this is the consistency that you suppose to get :)

buttered the case

into the microwave for 30 to 45 minutes under 170 degree celcius

a cup of condensed milk

the three simple ingredients to make chocolate ganache

cook evaporated milk with cocoa powder then add a spoonful of margarine

chocolate ganache :)

oreo cake is already baked :D

pour generous amount of chocolate ganache on top of oreo cake :D

Tapai pudding

yesterday , i helped my mom making tapai pudding . a very delicious dessert that all of my family members love to have . it is very suitable to be serve chilled and with drops of fruit cocktails . HEAVEN i tell youuu !

but i cannot cope with my mom cooking speed . she's the masterchef's master . so , i dont really know whether the recipe i'm about to share is complete or else . hehe . but , as i put up pictures of the ingredients , i'll explain what i've seen my mom doing with it , okay ?

maybe , when i'm already mastering this recipe , i will tell you guys in details :)

two packets of tapai

marsh them with you hands and get rid of the unwanted substance . hahaha .

about 5 helai of daun pandan .

blended with a little amount of water

beat about 7 to 8 eggs lightly

mix the tapai with air pandan ( which you need to filter first ! )

then , mix them with eggs mixture

then place all the mixture inside a loyang , then steam for about 45 minutes .

now , let's proceed with the creamy dressing

pour in an amount of sugar .

some water

cut into small pieces , one helai of daun pandan

mix hot water with tepung jagung , and then pour into the dressing mixture to thicken it .

Sorry for no updates recently . frankly , i haven't cook or bake for some time , just helping my mom kat dapur adalah . this morning , mommy asked me to cook spaghetti for my little sibs , so i say why not . since i'm making it by myself , i'm going to share my version of spaghetti bolognese with you guys :)

ingredients :

1 packet of spaghetti
1 can of prego (tomato flavor)
1 can of water
salt
sugar
mixed herbs
one pack minced beef
8 sausages
2-3 large onion
3 garlic
2 fresh tomatoes
4 cili padi
1 senduk of chilli sauce
and a bit pepper

first , you need to wash minced beef carefully , so that it wont smell badly . i use limau nipis to wash them . leave aside , and start to mix onions , garlic , cili padi and tomatoes inside a blender WITHOUT adding water , since tomatoes are already juicy . no need to blend it too long :)

sausages . if you use traditional tomato prego flavor , you might want to add mushrooms as well :)

onions , garlic , tomatoes and chillies

i'm using mushroom , tomato flavor .

the clean minced beef then will be cook until all the water has been evaporated .

WITHOUT adding oil , pour in the blender mix and saute em' until they are totally dry and smell delicious .

pour in prego , satu senduk chilli sauce , pepper , salt , sugar and mixed herbs ! and lastly , sausages .

start cooking spaghetti with water and a little drips of oil

let it cook for awhile .

to make sure that the spaghetti is ready , take one of it , and throw it upon the wall . if its stick to the wall , means the spaghetti is already cooked perfectly :)

this recipe which i'm going to share is taught by my older sister , izzaty arina . it was a really amazing and brilliant recipe which people cannot resist to make and eat ! thank you along for sharing it with me :)

so , last time , when abang man , kak zan , her sister and ADAM MUHAMMAD (their very the cute son) visiting amir and amirul lepas khatan , i made em' this very easy caramel pudding and also red velvet cake .

pudding ingredients :

condensed milk (1 can)
water (1 can)
7 eggs
a tablespoon of vanilla essence

caramel ingredients :

sugar
water

the ingredients needed :)

one , two , three , four , five , six , seven eggs !

pour in a can of condensed milk

a can of water

mix them well !

mix sugar and water . the important tip is , you must not stir the mixture with anything . just shake or move the pan slowly until it is bronze

the ready caramel ! you have to work quickly with the caramel as it tends to harden very fast

on top of the harden caramel , pour in the pudding mixture

i'm using rice cooker to steam my caramel pudding

finally , amir & amirul dah selamat berkhatan . this was the first time event happened in my family :D great experience i must say . tak sangka ktorg ada adik lelaki dah , after the first , second and third semua perempuan .

days before dieorg berkhatan , dieorg dah cuak dah . i can see through their faces . siap tanya lagi i how does it feels like ! i pun cakap lah , macam kena gigit semut je . as if i know the feeling lah . hahaha . so yesterday , the big day arrived . they aboard happily with my dad . i tak pg , segan . hahaha , takde kaitan padahal .

when they returned home , SENYAP gila . amirul dah pucat muka , but amir still managed to smile . my parents said , they don't even cried or run away :D good news ! hahaha . proud of the little boys , really ! when i see the look in abah's face , i know , he's really happy to take care of the two boys . i guess , that's why my dad really wants boys in the house . hehehe .

unfortunately , half way buat , baru perasan telur dah habis . kwang3 betul . that is when , lahir nya eggless cheesecake . haha . besides , when i google out for egg substitute , ada one person ni cakap , no need to add anything dah . but the cake will come out more solid but still , the people who eat em' won't get to differentiate whether there's egg or otherwise . hehe .

today , as i'm sitting leisurely inside my room , I start to wonder about things in the past , in between and in the future . yes , we may decide the future ourselves , as we already decided on our past . but who knew , there are so many dark secrets lies before that we regret and repent not to repeat the same mistake . without realize the fact that , we already had the down side in the past . i really want to shape my life in a way that me , myself will never regret living life .

who knew i would become an engineer ? i don't see my way there as well . but Allah does . He leads me to something that i never knew i will excel at and turn around the table about what i want to become when i was a child . He knows me well . as i'm growing towards the twentieth-age , i discover that i may plan everything that i want to happen , but in the end , He's the one whose going to decide what to happen .

And i do believe in Allah . even at times , when the devils come whispering and blurring my faith , i still manage to stay under His protection . i am not perfect , i make mistakes , i'm just a human . who is still praying to get something and thanks for getting things .

in the end , all i can say is , we will never have today and tomorrow , without mistakes that we learnt in the past .

today i baked honey nestum bar . but the actual recipe , patut guna oat . but then , i don't really favor oat :) so i decided to use honey nestum .

Ingredients
1/2  cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/2  cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4  cup granulated sugar
2  eggs, separated ( use only egg yolk )
2  tablespoons water
1/2  teaspoon vanilla
2  cups Oats / Nestum
1/2  cup all-purpose flour

the ingredients . tp last2 , i tak guna pun almond , sebab terlupa and i tukar oat with honey nestum . hehe :)

add all the ingredients together before you start to mix em' . use only egg yolk :)

the consistency you get before adding nestum / oats

this is how it looks after you add in nestum / oats

spread it onto the parchment paper and cook under 170 degree for 30 mins

happy tuesday . errr , weird . so today , i baked chocolate chip scones and brownies . but for this entry , i'm only going to write about chocolate chip scones . what i can say to describe this recipe is that , it is very simple to make , with the least ingredients needed and taste so beautiful .

yaya cakap every evening she will look forward for my new pastries . i'm glad when she said that , but still burdensome . hahaha . but hey ! i love to bake :D shall we look into the steps ?

the recipes :

Chocolate Chip Scones (if you have chocolate chips, they are optional, you can make plain scones)
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 egg, well beaten plus milk, to make 1 cup
1 cup mini chocolate chips
--Preheat oven to 450. Grease or spray a large cookie sheet.
Stir together dry ingredients including the sugar. Cut butter into flour mixture. Add raisins (or whatever you use), stir to mix well. Beat egg in measuring cup. Add milk to make 1 cup. Stir into flour. Drop roughly tablespoon size scoops on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. *You can knead 15-20 times and roll out and cut if you wish, but I prefer the ease of the drop method*

p/s : i'm not using baking powder & salt (usually i already bought salted butter) . since i don't have milk at home , i use condensed milk and mix with egg and hot water .

the ingredients :)

mix all the ingredients all together except for chocolate chip .

i would like to suggest you guys to mix them by hand :)

then , place a little bit of flour before you start to shape them . to make it much easier .

you can cut any way you like . then , place them SEPARATELY on parchment paper before you bake em' for 15 mins time under 170 degree celsius .

when it's bake , you may take it off the parchment paper easily . when you turn it over , you will have this structure. bread-like shape :)

chocolate chip scones . macam cookies , tapi sangat lembut . it melts away inside you mouth !

strawberry & banana tart

the first time i had strawberry and banana tart was in bandung back in september . we dine in at azzura sip and dine restaurant . it was really delicious , that i finally made up my mind to bake one . hahaha . but mine really cannot top the softness of the crust and the taste of extravaganza cinnamon . but it was a good try though :) a very simple recipe and can be ready in a snap !

so here are the recipes and ingredients needed :

strawberry jam
bananas
egg
lemon juice
puff pastry
cinnamon
and vanilla ice cream

p/s : i'm using the ready made puff pastry . ingat nk buat sendiri , siap beli yeast dh . but i still don't have the confidence . hahaha .

these are the ingredients needed :)

cut the bananas thinly

cook the strawberry jam with lemon juice and let it boil for awhile before adding bananas

cook em' and wait for the mixture to simmer . since i don't have cinnamon powder , i cook the mixture with stick cinnamon . hahaha .

then , lay the mixture on the puff pastry

cover all parts of the pastry with lotsa bananas and strawberry jam ! bake under the temperature of 180 degree for 15-30 mins .

& finally serve it with vanilla ice cream :D

please ignore my last entry , i was upset with my little siblings . funny kan ? dh besar-besar pun nk gaduh dgn adik2 & nk luah kan perasaan . hahaha . & by the way , i got an invitation to go on a date with my best friend , atul next sunday . wee hoo :D

so today , i baked a new york cheesecake ! but since i'm using biskut marie , malaysia cheesecake also can lah . hehe . it was super easy to make and taste so delicious :D

here are the recipes :

for crust :

biskut marie
butter

for the topping :

cream cheese
sugar
butter
vanilla extract
eggs

so , let's baking !

the ingredients needed :)

crush a row of marie biscuits

i don't have food processor . so , i'm using lesung batu and put it into a clean plastic bag . hehe .

crushed biscuits :)

pour in an appropriate amount of melted butter into the crushed biscuits . i melted the butter using microwave , senang !

i don't have a fancy pan where you take out cake easily . so , as usual , i use parchment paper :)

spread the crust onto the bottom part of the pan

now we can proceed to make the topping . just mix all the ingredients together except for eggs . you have to put in one by one . i'm using 2 eggs :)

after whisk all the toppings together , you will get a very creamy and thick mixture .

pour it into the pan :)

spread it nicely and put it into the oven under 170 degree for 30-40 mins .

this is how it looks after being cook for 39 mins . hahaha .

take it out after being left to cool :)

i will ask you nothing but to understand me . even though , i seem so kind and you thought i can be who ever you want me to be , i'm not . i am as free as a pigeon now . i got nothing to do at home , i seem to watch television half day long , clean up home for a bit and only fetch the kids at evening . i hate this routine to be honest . everything i do now is useless . i can never impress people with their expectation and keep the good image forever . because i am not perfect . i don't have lump sum of money to spend for you guys , i don't have the mood to play , i simply need my time alone when i'm already alone . get what i mean ?

deep inside , i think this feeling is , unappreciated .

for this two days of raya haji , i've been cooking chocolate pops twice . and they all finished at once . semua marah i buat in a small scale , hahaha . but this recipe , is worth to be addicted . i'm sharing this recipe with you guys here .

these are the ingredient needed :

condensed milk

chocolate bar

kellogg's pops

butter

this is my very own recipe . but if you google pun ada je recipe macam ni , but i prefer to do it randomly . it is very simple to make . you don't really need exact measurement for this ( i think . hahaha )

first , you need to cook condensed milk under small temperature .

then , melt the butter . if you like it to taste sweet , no need to put so much butter . i put about 2-3 spoons of butter . just to make the mixture glossy .

melt the chocolate . i used about half bar .

mix them all together :) it is best to be cook on non-stick pan .

pour in kellogg's pop into the chocolate mixture ! just enough for all the pops to be coated .

spread onto parchment paper & cool it for a while .

chocolate pops ready to be eat :)

easy & tasty !

p/s : from now on , i'm back onto the right track ! trying out new recipes and do not stick with the idea of selling it . seeing my family eat and enjoy every bites , makes my heart go boom boom boom :D

Amin . how was your aidiladha ? mine was beyond great ! we usually celebrate aidiladha in kampung and the last time my aidiladha was in UTP , but this year we celebrated aidiladha at our home :) we cooked lotsa good foods the day before and chit-chatting while cooking is priceless . seriously .

the morning of aidiladha , we all woke up quite late except my dad and my twin brothers . of course lah , because dieorg tak masak :p kaki i sampai cramp sb asyk berdiri je . hehe . but we still managed to go perform solat sunat raya and watched Qurban . this year , our whole family took part in Qurban . this is my very first time watching Qurban is conducted . i was very amazed !

after that , we went back home and continue to cook some more and make lotsa dessert . my siblings specialties :D hahaha . because we were expecting mak ngah belah my mom to come :) after that , ktorg pg beraya pulak kat rumah aunty midah , kawan my mom .

hello & salam people .

i know , this is quite late since i already baked all my raya haji order 2 days ago . as you can see from my last entry , i am really frustrated . yes , due to baking . i went to barang kita , a shop where you can find various products for baking . then , i thought , the self-raising flour in barang kita would be great compared to blue keys . lagi pun malas nk stop banyak places . fyi , i'm not buying it to cut the budget since the price is much more expensive . after baking few cupcakes to be tasted first (mommy cakap kena lah jaga quality) , i really thought it was great tau . seriously . but then , after i made 3 doughs and baked all of them , i rasa balik . it tastes terribly wrong :( i feels like crying . never had this trouble before . why this happen on my big day :( i cannot forgive myself for using that flour . NOT FLUFFY AND TASTE SO WRONG . i am very upset and feels like this maybe going to be my last sell out . but if i still got any order going on , i will not change any of my original ingredients . SUMPAH .

from that i learnt , not everything in life will turn out what it supposed to be . through experience , from good things to bad things , we will start to improve . for all my customers , i am deeply sorry . even so , i still manage to sell them out . thank you for buying my cupcakes . sumpah terharu :')

Macaroon's temptation

today , i baked macaroons . my dearest friend , hamidah , suggested me to do it . then i tengok , semua ingredients ada , why not lah kan ? But please , don't expect too much , because tak jadi sangat . but through out this try out , i learnt my lesson . Insya Allah , next time ( if there's next time ) , i'll try to improve :)

these are the recipe :

110gm gula aising
65gm serbuk badam (ground almond)
13gm serbuk koko
60gm putih telur - dalam 2 biji
20gm gula kastor
secubit cream of tartar

(for 30 pieces)

p/s : i didn't use tartar cream :)

the ingredients needed :)

first , you have to whisk white egg until it is VERY THICK .

Mix cocoa powder , castor and icing sugar , and grounded almonds .

this is how it looks after they have been mixed together .

since i don't have piping bag , I'm using a clean plastic and cut at the end of one side of the tip .

spread them on the parchment paper . see my defect ? the mixture is not thick enough .

so today , i'm making hedgehog slice inside cups . because amir & amirul requested so . hehe . they wanted to sell hedgehog / caramel chocolate cups to their friends . pandai ke ? ntah lah , we'll see tomorrow . hahaha . but if they don't manage to sell off and bring the money home , tak kesah lah :) sedekah kat budak-budak . but at least they know how to do business . kan ?

hello & salam peeps :D

this morning , we went to my mak ndak house , because she's having a little kenduri for her new baby girl , aisy aisar qamalin . i thought the name was weird too in the first place , but it has a very beautiful meaning in Islam . so , i don't really much bother about that :) the name is quite hard to pronounce , so we just call her aisy or potek . because masa my mak ndak pregnant aisy , she loves to say potek . hahaha . macam melatah gitu , melekat kat aisy , hehe .

it was happening . macam orang kahwin ! siap pelamin and two sets of tent . masa i kecik2 , buat kat rumah tok je KOT . but nothing like this lah for sure . i guess , this is how cukur jambul nowadays need to be . hik hik . more like baby shower , but this is after the baby has born .

last sunday , my family went for vacation in Johor Bahru since along is very busy with her thesis and events , & the siblings got about 1 week off . daddy was the one planning this small getaway . i really needed this instead of staying at home for the weekends and doing nothing except thinking of new recipes to bake . hahaha .

for me , JB is a well developed state . the infrastructures , the buildings , the malls , the harbours , the beaches , amazing ! seronok lah org JB , ada banyak malls . hehz . but there's also things that i don't really like there such as the hustle and bustle on road and their attitudes while driving also . plus , the motorcyclist doesn't rode on the left side of the road , but keep on staying on the middle . when you're there , you can understand more what i'm saying about here , hehe .
