chocolate chip scones

hello & salam people :)

happy tuesday . errr , weird . so today , i baked chocolate chip scones and brownies . but for this entry , i'm only going to write about chocolate chip scones . what i can say to describe this recipe is that , it is very simple to make , with the least ingredients needed and taste so beautiful .

yaya cakap every evening she will look forward for my new pastries . i'm glad when she said that , but still burdensome . hahaha . but hey ! i love to bake :D shall we look into the steps ?

the recipes :

Chocolate Chip Scones (if you have chocolate chips, they are optional, you can make plain scones)
3 cups flour 
2 teaspoons baking powder 
1 cup sugar 
1/4 teaspoon salt 
3/4 cup butter or margarine 
1 egg, well beaten plus milk, to make 1 cup 
1 cup mini chocolate chips
--Preheat oven to 450. Grease or spray a large cookie sheet. 
Stir together dry ingredients including the sugar. Cut butter into flour mixture. Add raisins (or whatever you use), stir to mix well. Beat egg in measuring cup. Add milk to make 1 cup. Stir into flour. Drop roughly tablespoon size scoops on cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. *You can knead 15-20 times and roll out and cut if you wish, but I prefer the ease of the drop method*

p/s : i'm not using baking powder & salt (usually i already bought salted butter) . since i don't have milk at home , i use condensed milk and mix with egg and hot water . 

 the ingredients :)

 mix all the ingredients all together except for chocolate chip .

 i would like to suggest you guys to mix them by hand :)


 then , place a little bit of flour before you start to shape them . to make it much easier .

 you can cut any way you like . then , place them SEPARATELY on parchment paper before you bake em' for 15 mins time under 170 degree celsius .

 when it's bake , you may take it off the parchment paper easily . when you turn it over , you will have this structure. bread-like shape :)

chocolate chip scones . macam cookies , tapi sangat lembut . it melts away inside you mouth !
